how do I close my proxy instance? only those with membership are able to do so?

I tried closing it but it says, only user with membership is allowed to do so. if I don't close it, it will keep charging my AWS( Amazon Web Server) cresit

I hope someone will look into my problem as soon as possible as it really matters.
